My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

ahh i ok i got it... i tryed the 95-98 ones and i must be missing a part since it just pulled apart instantly with just the weight of the break.... so i tryed the 00-02 ones again and got them to work much better so far

gravana has all the pics when i sent them how the 00-05 went together

but that looks right for the 95-99 , dont forget the top washer is needed on the 95-99's

my pics might still be up in the other post i linked on the 00-05

both mounts are super simple

also the 00-05 for me made more noise , the bearing holder in the pic rubs the metal lip of the mount , and you need to grind the lip away , then they are fine

so, if you put it together like that, what stops the mount from coming off the top of the strut? i mean, the gravana washer will not hold the strut mount onto the strut. so what does???? got any pics of the toP?

I couldnt figure it out using the 95-99 struts...

the factory uses a large cuped washer on the top , you have to reuse it

or get 1 from a junk yard , since i dont think they sell it new

do you have any odd noises like when backing up and turning outta the driveway ?

if you do its a easy fix , just gotta take the mouts off and grind the lip that is part of the mount , it rubs on the gold part the bearings are in

i couldnt find my pics of it

97trd.... do you mean grind it so the gold top part of the bearing sits inside the black steel cup better?

it should be sitting furthur in than what josh's second pic shows or what?

Please let me know.

not the gold piece , its the stock mount you need to grind on

it has a lip all the way around the hole and you need to take that lip off the mount , it rubbed on my stock 100,000 mile mounts and the brand new mounts i had

that part shouldnt be making noice... it should be sliding freely on the bearings.. i packed my bearings with grease before putting them in and i dont have any noices at all
