i put a wing on my car.
i was planning on switching out my spoiler for a wings west wing designed for the cavalier looks kinda like the cobalt ss/ sc wing but not really... I have eibach sportlines on my car i want to know if the wing will push my back end down any more or will the springs hold their height cause i dont want it any lower in the back.

Unless it's made out of cement, adding the spoiler won't change the ride height of the car.
a spoiler weights about 15lbs max. it will not affect anything on the way your suspension sits
I think he's worried about the effects of down-force. Don't be, unless you get a huge functional wing and constantly drive in excess of 100mph.

somewhat worried about that although the wing isn't that huge its not bigger than an evo wing and yes occasionally i will drive till i hit the limiter. but thanks man that answers the question

In the event that your back end did compress while driving, it would definitely be temporary. A bit of "squat" is generally a good thing for stability at high speeds, and any good suspension spring will return to normal height afterward. Only poor-quality springs have the tendency to "sag", which will probably happen regardless of what spoiler you choose.

Thread of day.
Nothing funnier then to question if the Airbus 360, rear-view-mirror filling wing will sag your car.
happy to make your day...
wow wasnt thinking about it taking up my whole mirror that sucks i dont think it will be that bad like i said its not worse than an evo/sti/cobalt wing
and geeky i have good springs so i guess i wont have to worry about it thanks
