I was thinking of going RK Sport Coilover Kit off of smg. I was wondering if it would be a problem using coil overs in the snow, the car is my dd so once winter hits it'll be driven in snow. Also, the spring rate is 375 in the front 325 in the rear, how comfortable of a ride is it? I should get a set of 18" black exel light rims wrapped in nexen n5000 225/40/18 tires on monday, if they come on time, i'm not sure if that will influence the ride quality as well.
Do coilover kits come with everything i'll need for a safe ride, i wasn't sure if they came with struts or not? I wasn't sure if i should go with struts and lowering springs at first or just a coilover kit. I was gonna go with a 1.8 drop in the front and a 2.3 drop in the rear. To do that with lowering springs and struts it would cost me way over the 300 dollars this coilover kit is gonna cost, so what is the benefits of the coils and the cons of the coils? Which ride quality would be better, koni yellow struts with eibach sportlines or the rk sport coil over kit?

I believe the RKSport coilovers are similar to the Ground Control coilovers...You would need to buy either Koni Yellows or Tokico D-Specs to go with them..............
Overall costs for the RKSport coilovers with struts vs Sportlines and struts its gonna be within $100............
Also if you want to raise up your RKSports in the winter its not a big job.........
Any idea as to which would give me a better quality ride?

Between the Sportlines and the RKSport Coilovers?? Springs normally ride a little better but coilovers are better for auto-x.....
Remember the lower you go the more your sacrificing your ride....If you want a drop and good ride quality check out the Pro Kit and AGX's.....
I'm gonna be going with lowering springs. I'm gonna get the eibach pro kit, and which struts the koni yellow, or the d specs?

If your gonna get the Pro Kit you might as well get KYB AGX.....
They have adjustable dampening......
They're cheap struts and perfectly matched for the Eibach Pro Kit.......
My Koni's and Ground Controls ride much better than AGX's and H&R's.
If you do the Eibach sportlines get the Koni yellows struts.
If you do the Eibach Pro kit get the KYB AGX series struts.
We also price match, but we also have some of the lowest prices
