Did anyone know Tokico made a full set-up for the Cav's? Never heard of this until about an hour ago.....

They make a couple of different kits.
The DSK501 kit, which seems to run about $900, and includes D-Spec shocks that have been well-tested by many members on this board.
The HPK291 kit, which seems to run about $550, and includes HP shocks.
The trouble is that they seem really vague about the actual amount of lowering. I think I saw a picture of a Cavalier with the DSK501 kit once, but I couldn't tell you where. I'd probably steer clear of the kit with the HPs, just because they aren't adjustable and probably aren't very low.

i believe thats just springs. i didnt see any mentioning of struts in there

If you search the part numbers I mentioned, you'll find they are spring and strut kits.

Nope I called up FORD and they said Struts/Shocks and Springs are included in that price.....
The springs are installed on struts in the picture....I have it infront of me but its sooo small I cant see the writing on the strut....It would probably just say Springs instead of Suspension Kits if it was only Springs
I doubt it would be the HP's because it says .5" - 1.75" drop......But I find it hard to believe its D-Specs with springs for $650.........
Anyways I'll find out all the details tomorrow night.........Not worded the best in the catalogue....
i have the hpk291 kit. The drop is only 1.4". I had them installed last summer. The rear left one is blown. I haven't called tokico yet about the lifetime warranty. I hope i can thow them some money and get some dspecs for replacements.

Nope. That blurb has been recycled in a bunch of ads and websites, but it originally came from the main Tokico website as a general description of ALL their kits. The kits themselves are not coilovers, and are not height-adjustable.
If they're charging $650, I think it's an overpriced quote for the HPK291 that includes HPs.

Now that I've been staring at the picture for 30 mins I think I can see HP just below the spring.....
So this kit probably isnt much good then?
i believe i got my hpk291 kit for $450. I would just save up an extra $200 and get the dspec.

You could do worse, as I can't imagine Tokico selling a "package" that is poorly matched. At $650, if what V Dub says is true and the HP package lowers 1.4", for the money you would do better to get the tried and true combination of KYB AGX struts (which give you ride adjustability) and Eibach Pro Kit springs (1.4" drop).

d-specs are good...and easy to install! i got the kit from jason at aplus for 7 and some change.
