So I now have two cavs, and the newer eco cav is getting the best of the suspension between the two, that is the reason for the hodgepodge of parts:
front - poly control arm bushings, 2004 cav front sway bar with stock bushings, b&g springs, koni reds set at or near full hard
rear - addco 1" sway bar (poly bushings), eibach sportlines, koni reds set near full soft.
The ride quality is actually pretty good. The drop and rates for the B&G and sportline front springs are close to the same, so I don't think its a big deal having the B&G up front with the sportline rear.
As you may guess, even with the koni's at full soft in the rear, the car oversteers. I have an addco front sway bar on the other cav that would solve that problem, but its a pain to take off, so buying another one is a more feasible option.
But how about upgrading to poly swaybar bushings for the factory sway bar and adding a front strut tower brace? Would that balance out the oversteer or should i just not dick around and get the addco front bar?
BTW, when the addco front and rear bar were on the older cav, that thing was unstoppable in the twisties - aside from the b&g springs and koni's, it was the best bang for the buck suspension mod i could do...
what did you run on the old cav as far as the yellows go w/ the addco bars, like how hard/soft in the front and back?

The set up on the old cav was: koni red set to near full hard front and rear with b&g springs and addco front and rear sway bars. That was on 14" steelies/tires as well, and it still gripped way beyond my expectations.
The reason I ask is because im on GC/Yellows and it feels like im missing something. I have addco bars, front/rear strut tower bars and it feels like my yellows need to be adjusted. So you were on near full hard in the front and full hard in the rear?
yes, that was the old set up. after i added the addco bars, it was perfect. Now im trying to balance a larger rear bar by using softer settings on the konis, but its not working completely. Hence im thinking just get another addco front bar and be done with it...
how do you get oversteer on a FWD car??

A significantly larger rear sway bar makes the rear tighter than the front, causing it to step out under extreme cornering or rapid transitions
Upgrade front endlinks to poly and you should notice a huge difference. My buddy has an '03 LS Sport with the 24mm factory bar up front, and the Addco rear. A trip to Autozone and some Energy Suspension endlinks later it made a night and day difference. All for $20.
^^^ Did they come as a kit? I wanna pick them up, but I haven't found the package together.

Sorry for the late response. Yes they were poly bushings/complete endlinks. Just had to cut down the middle spacer a bit to make it perfect even with the stock endlinks.
