We have a 98 sunfire gt. It seems to have very slow and harder steering compared to my other j bodys...also it tends to clunk when steering to the left or backing out of parking places. Im thinking steering rack?
try changing power steering fluid. use a turkey baster and suck out the res and refill it with new fresh fluid then start the cat and turn the wheel lock to lock5 times and suck out that fluid and refill. repeat this untill the fluis in clean and clear.
