I just installed (300miles ago), Ceramic Pads, it seems I have more break dust then I did with the originals. Is this common? I thought they would provide less, that is why I went that way
Ceramic are supposed to be cleaner, but it probably depends a bit on quality and formulation. Mine were no cleaner when I switched to ceramic, but I also got slotted/drilled rotors at the same time -- so I gave them some credit for putting up with extra chewing.
