I was wondering what is better for ride quality. I have sportlines on d-specs right now on my car. I have had sprints in the past and they were a alright ride but on stock struts. I was just wondering what everyones thoughts would be.

you gotta make your mind up on a suspension lol
Oh I know that I do it sucks. I've been through 3 different sets of springs now. I should prolly just save up the money and go with tein basics.

Yeah, without good struts the ride changes a lot... Koni IMO is the best in replacement struts, KYB AGX are also good, they just dont take a large drop like the koni's do.

I have d-specs right now so I know that I would be alright with them.

Bringing this back from the dead. Anyone one else have any thoughts on this. I am really tired of the stance of the sportlines. It seemed like my sprints seemed to sit lower when I compare pics on the same surface. I have Tokico D-specs so controling the spring should not be any sort of a issue.

Well i got me a set of sprints from a jbo member and im lookin into getting a set of struts myself.
KYB AGX looks to be the best bet i hope. I can get them off ebay for 370. shipped. Wonder if theres any
venders here that could do better?? Anyone know of any better prices for the kyb agx complete set??
That's a pretty good deal.......i just got my from tirerack.com with shipping they were under 450.

The ones from ebay have no warrenty. Thats why they are so cheap. So if your getting them, make sure you dont go over 1.5 inch drop to keep them safe. If they break, its on your dollar.

those springs are past the 1.5" mark for the agxs. your best bet is dspecs or konis if you want it done right.

depends on the seller. some sellers on ebay are actual distributors for kyb.
Any good dspec distributers that jbo members get discounts from? Found them on ebay(yeah i know) for 500.00 shipped!
The lower you go in ride height via springs, the less suspension travel you'll have, hence the higher spring rate, and harsher ride.
Personally, I'd go with the Prolines or Pro kit springs by Eibach and enjoy a good ride with enough lowering to provide a good stance and still have full use of the suspension travel.
Good luck with it 01Cav.

Thank you Dave and JBO!
Now I thought that my sportlines are alot stiffer than my sprints were. But I was also on stock struts with the sprints as well.
