Hello all,
I just wanted to let you guys know that i got a Eibach anti-roll kit form the tirerack, but when i took it to my mechanic's shop to get it installed, there were pieces missing!! bummer.
Also, the front sway bar , we are still NO IDEA where it goes. Is it possible that my car is different from any other model???? if so....that's very inconvenient.
FYI, the car is a 2002 Cavy 2.2L non-ecotec. manual transmission.
If you pictures it would be awesome.
peace.

Your mechanic is a moron. Go somewhere else. Bummer about the missing parts though.
front sway bar mounts to the top of the subframe.

Yeah I had to remove the sub-frame to install the front sway bar, and if pieces are missing, which if it was all boxed and packaged correctly I would doubt it, but yeah i'm with Chad the guy workin on your car should probably be lookin for something else to do. A sway bar is one of the easiest things to install.

but but but...it's such a lovely decoration...lol....j/k
to teh OP what parts are "missing"? if you don't have a front sway bar there are pieces that you will need to get from teh dealer, thay are the only ones who have the front brackets and bolts.

Darkstars, thanks for the link, it HELPED A LOT!! Kudos. however, the bushings for the rear...when you got yours...was the diameter of the holes bigger than the actual diameter of the rear bar itself?? was it loose or it fit perfect??
All, You are all right. I'll go somewhere else to have it installed.

Cinny and All, i will send you pictures of the contents of the box as soon as i get home.

the bushings should fit snugly on the bars
cars with out factory front bars need to buy some stock parts
OK Here is the picture of all the stuff that came in the box.
Now, i think i am missing bushings for the front...although those bushings fit better (tight) on the front bar than in the rear...(is very loose in the rear.
please advice.
peace.

only thing i see missing that not a dealer item is the rear bushings, ps I think you will be ditching those big bolts for teh rear. it should use the same bolt that holds the shocks into place. you will need the front K-frame brackets and the bolts to hold them in. those holes get dirt in them tell whom ever is installing them to clean out the holes to make their life easier.

ok you are missing a set of D-bushings , are the 1's that you have flat on the bottom(not rounded part) if its flat its for the rear , if it has some odd shape to it its for the front
