I have been looking and looking and cant find the info i need on this swap. So a few things..

Does the holes have to be tigged or can they be mig welded?
How do you know how and where to line the new holes up to?
Is there a hole how to?

Any help would be appreciated..phil

tig weilded you can't weld aluminum with mig. "i think" mine are tigged.
i used the steel control arm a level and the old balljoint mounting plates.
some where here their is i used it. i have been using them for 8 months now no issues.
just make sure you get ball joints that come pregreesed. the grease fitting on alot of jbody balljoints have the grease fittings is in a spot that doesn't allow it to be greased.
Poly's are a nice extra. get new end links for the sway bar.

Search for n-body control arms in this forum. There is kind of a how-to on the holes somewhere in the thread, I think by Gary Voyles IIRC. You basicly need to move them in 1/2" and cut off 1/2" of the arm to clear the ball joint in the new position.

Start where I told you and READ... Go clear through pages 10 or 11. All the info needed is in that post.

Here is a better version of the article with not all of the other posts that are not relevent to the subject.
Check it out and see how easy it is.
I had the holes welded at a shop for a small fee and they did excellent work on the welding in the holds.
My control arms are going on this week along with a whole bunch of other goodies that have been sitting in storage for some time.
Good luck with your control arms.
