it's not a real quick install. having it lowered isn't a problem.

sorry let me bring you up to speed...my rear strut will not seat evenly agianst the show tower.......i have 3 bolts to work with....one with a 10mm nut on it and 2 studs that are comming from beneath without.....all holes line up but when it comes to torque it down it just bolts the on side down and leaves the other barley haning onto the other stud...after reading other post should i just place the strut on top of the other nut or remove and tighten down .....i know its hard to understand when you have nothing to look at.....

same thing for me, I have had the bar in my trunk for the last few months and have not put it on because I have been too lazy to do it, I might do it tomorrow, just changed oil and spark plugs on mine, the gf's, and her dad's truck,
winter tires are going on the gf's moms car, and some new driving lights for the gf's car and I will just pull the car in after and put it on,
I will post how it went later

good luck, I hope mine goes well too

What I did since mine (Vibrant) was three pieces, I unscrew the two ends and put them on the strut mount bolts and slightly tighten the extra bolts(bought them at a hardware store) for them over the end pieces and then screwed the two ends to the main bar. Then I tightened the bolts on the end pieces all the way down.

did it today, it was looking like it was pointing backwards a little, so I left all the nuts and bolts loose so they would fit on the strut bolts, got them tight, then made the bolts that hold the car on the brackets tight, and it works well.

might be a mental thing, but I think it drives a little better,

need to buy some new brackets that I lost to screw the sub box down and I will push it a little harder later
