I found this on another forum an I figured that it would work good here as well. This can be used to post pics of your suspension setups, being sway-bars, strut tower bars, Struts and springs. I think that this would benefit everyone on here showing what all the different suspension drops would look like and help members decdie on what they want. Please feel free to post what setups you have along with pics. I will start off with my setups that I have used.

Sprint lowering springs on stock struts. Drop is 1.8" Front and 1.8" Rear. This is on 225-50-16 on 16x7 wheel with 42MM offset.

H&R lowering springs on stock struts. Drop is claimed as 1.6" Front and 1.4" Rear This is on a 225-45-17 on a 17x7.5" wheel with a 40MM offset.

Eibach Sportlines on Tokico D-specs. Drop is claimed as 1.7" Front and 2.3" Rear. This is on a 225-45-17 on a 17x7.5" wheel with a 40MM offset.

i just think you like showing off your car. while this isnt a bad idea we already have the members section where you can search for anything you want. not to mention this more than likely wont be stickied and it will fall off the first page and people will stay ask what does such and such look like. like i said its a decent idea but this forum is so bad with people who wont take the time to search so why help people who cant help themselves?

i think its a good idea - yes you can search but not everyone posts what suspension they are on when they post pictures of their car, etc... so to have a bunch of different setups, with the specific suspension modifications written right there it makes it a little easier for people to see what they like.

i agree he does jsut like to post his car....im glad he isnt premium...we would see a new post every hour

on topic, there are 4 million threads of every setup..people jsut never search for them...also settling, weight distrobution, wheel/tire size, all play key factors....would take forever to compile eery setup

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

I actually think it is a really good idea because I spent alot of time looking around at pics and registries trying to find pictures of different set ups and something like this would have been a big help,

Ideally it would be good to have thinks like weight front and back(so we know if the drop is as low as it is because there are 15 midgets in the back and 3 under the hood or if it really is the drop without alot of stuff in the car), or even better yet, pics of cars fully loaded and without anything extra in the car on different set ups.

the strut bars and sway bars might not be a huge help, but if there is one page with different sway bars and pics that could help alot of people out too(like me when I finally order them), more so we would know if they are being installed the correct way and what not. (at least the pictures are clear, the bulk of the ones I have seen have been really blurry or just too dark)

wheels and tires would help me out alot as I am tossing up what to get right now(granted there are differences based on what tires they are) it would give a good idea of what they look like as far as where they stick out of the fender and how close they get to rubbing and how they fill the wheel well.
I have been trying to find out about this the last little bit because I don't know what offsets will look the best and what tires on the rims will be like.

thanks for trying to help, I do not have alot of experience with cars and or doing the work myself, I try my best and take my time so I can become better and feel more confident in my abilities with cars,

I do alot fo research before I start projects (I have lowered my car myself the right way with no problems, done the breaks, torn the entire inside of the car out and put it back together, installed a new sunroof, done electrical work and installed my headunit, speakers, amp, subs, made a fiberglass trunk lid liner that will eventually be covered, painted wheels, reg maintenance, soon to paint a bady kit for the car, install the k brace, motor and tranny mounts, sway bars, hubs, and the list goes on)
not everything was hard or took alot of time, but somethings took time to find out how to do it right the first time and get the results that I want(usually has to be perfect or I do it really don't like it).

cheers

so things like this do help when you are trying to decide on where to spend your hard earned money.
