Installing rear strut tower brace
Saturday, January 05, 2008 10:03 AM
How do i install a rear strut tower brace? The front one was easy but the rear one has a flat round nut on it. Im wondering if i have to undo it from the wheel well or if there is another way to undo the nut.

My rear brace only has two holes for bolts. I undid two nuts on either side, put the brace on, then put the nuts back on top.

if you are talking about the welded nut, you just have to put a spacer on the other bolt to even it out.

Here's what it should look like to make it level.

This should help you in seeing how it goes onto the rear.
Good luck.

I know this is an old thread but i was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the rear brace with the carpet still in? Also a full trunk shot. Thanks.

Here is the RKSport rear strut bar along with some other work I've done to improve the rear chassis.
