KYB AGX - Issues or Problems?!
Tuesday, January 08, 2008 3:58 PM
I have to replace my old Koni Red's as they are dead now. I was looking at the KYB AGX's struts. Pricing is great, but on some of the reviews I have read, many people seem to have problems with the length of time the struts are good for. I have been hearing after 6 months to one year their quality starts to degrade quickly.

Application is '96 Cavy Z24. Lowered on Eibach Sportlines...

I am price sensitive, but if I need to, I will spend more money. Koni yellows are an option, but since my old struts are dead, I would need to buy two new struts for the front cartridges anyways.

If anyone has any feedback, it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Shane

AGX's really can't handle that kind of drop. They are only garunteed for like a 1.5" drop. You would need to either get D-specs or the Koni's. They would be ok for little bit but they would blow quick.

3 years, no issues. Then again they've only seen maybe 500 miles. But have sat for months on end.
