I recently put on my 01 z24 a set of the tokico d spec struts and eibach sportline lowering springs. I was wondering how much i am supposed to cut my bumpstops because this thing rides pretty harsh and i dont know if its hitting the bumpstops or not.

cut them in half, that's what i did.the ride is pretty smooth.
first off, how do you have your d-spec's adjusted? all the way firm?
second, in your instructions that should have came with your sportlines, it will have a picture on one side that displays the full view of the bumpstop and shows your exactly how much to cut off.
ive been playing with them and i cant seem to find a way to get it to ride nicely. its really ticking me off. i only cut like to the first groove in the bumpstop. should i cut more off??

pretty simple and someone on here said it best. the bump stop looks like a snowman, chop the head off and your good.
