ok I bought a set up from a member that consists of koni reds, ground control coilovers and eibach springs, and I think I remember him telling me that you cant get strut mounts for koni reds and that you have to drill out the oem ones to make the konis fit, well I am getting tired of the klunking sound coming from the rear what do I do, do I just buy oem replacements or get ones a little better or are there ones out there for me? please help
I had Koni Reds for 6 years...they fit my stock strut mounts!
I'd say get new strut mounts and you'd be fine?
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
Monroe mounts cost about $35 each for rear mounts and come with a lifetime warranty. Koni Reds fit without modification...it is the Koni Yellows that you have to modify the rear mount.
so I was told that the oem strut mounts are like a 3/8" size and aftermarkets are 1/2"
