Tein Basics Hardware?

Hi folks, I am getting a hell of a deal on some Tein Basics and I have a '98 Sunfire coupe. Two questions ... one I want to make sure they work fine for my car. Here's a link (not where I'm getting them from):

http://www.prostreetonline.com/pnsku/dsg90-luss2.asp

I know it's all supposed to be the same, but it only lists the set being for Cavs so wanted to be sure.

Secondly, what's this (Needs 00-04 Top Mt. & Upper S/P Seat) deal? I have a friend helping me install it so don't worry about the fact that I'm too stupid to know what it is ... but I DO need to know what exactly I will need to get, and how much it will cost. If someone could explain how many of what exactly I need to ask for when I call the dealer (or wherever you recommend I get it) I would appreciate it very much. If you happen to know part numbers, all the better.

Thanks much all!!

it means that you need to purchase upper strut mounts for the front for a 00-05 Jbody

So I just need two 00-04 front upper strut mounts? It lists two things, the "top mount" and "upper s/p seat" so I wanna make sure. All I need to ask for is two 00-04 front upper strut mounts?

Thanks!

you dont need rears, they are all the same. But sometimes it is easier to assemble the basics before hand, then when it comes time to put them on the car, its a simple bolt in affair. Plus, its always a good idea to have new mounds with the stiffness of the new springs and dampers. dont have to though.

Hate to be annoying but can anyone confirm that these are the right rear mounts I should get for my '98 Sunfire coupe to make the Teins go in better?

Thats them. I just bought the same ones for my 2000 cav today and will be putting TEIN basics on tomorrow. The only thing I dont know about is the spring seat that is in the downloadable installation manual from TEINS website. It didn't come with my mounts and it doesn't come with the TEIN's so I am kinda confused if I need that part at all? Other guys on here say just buy the mounts and bolt them on and your done so maybe you dont need the spring seats?

Thanks 420, please if you have a moment post back here on how the install went. I'd appreciate it very much! If anyone wants I will post pictures, part numbers and prices when I do mine. I know it's a simple install by tuner community standards but some of us could use the help.

Hey TIGR, the install went great I was done the swap in about an hour and ten minutes. About the spring seats they come with the teins. I didnt think to take pics untill after the install, I couldnt wait to get them on! The car rides great, doesnt bounce around like cheap ebay coilovers. The ride is firm but eats up bumps nicely, car holds the road through hard corners like nothing! TEIN all the way. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do. The big top nut on the front that bolts the new mount to the coilover is easier to tighten once on the car and weight of the car is on it. Good luck let me know how it goes.
