Ok so I had an idea about piece together a coilover set up...I only know a little about suspension this is hwy Im asking you guys......I have the gay 30 dollars coilovers on my car right now ( I know make fun ha ha) ...But I was thinking about buying another set and just using the collar and not the actual spring it comes with..I was going to buy the Eibach sport lines and put them on the ebay collars to compress them if I want it lower than it would be with just using the eibachs with out the collars........opinions ???
makes no sense....why would you spend a bunch of money on a coilover set-up and not use part of it....but instead use some cheap @!#$

ya i see what your saying use the $30 coilover collar and sleeve and use eibach which are good springs therefore making a good coilkover setup?right.ya i dunno how well it will work but i see what you are saying.and i am for sure waiting to see what others say.
The Ground Control pieces can be purchased seperately, you just need to call them directly.
Why you would do this is beyond me though. As stated, you would already need to buy the 2.5" springs (not Sportlines, or any other lowering spring for that matter), so why not buy the whole setup? You would actually be better off using the sleeves and perches you have now and putting decent springs on them instead of doing what you want to do.
