i believe they have been tried on our cars before. IIRC, they weren't very good springs at all. skunk2 springs may be good on some cars, but not ours.

try searching, you may find some old posts about them.

I installed these springs with KYB AGXs a little less than two years ago on my 98 z24. I like them. My only real complaint is the small loss of stability I experienced at speed (read FAST) on gravel. But they were not at all intended for this use, so I can't be truly disappointed. The ride is a little stiffer than I expected, but the car holds the road very well through a corner even on bumpy patches. Match them with a decently sticky 225 width tire if you want something more than the lowered look.

I did a bit of research and talked to a few different people at Skunk2 before purchasing. Just identify your particular needs and take the time to find exactly what meets those needs.

Take this info with a grain of salt: this is still my first suspension setup.
