I was curious to know if I would see any benefit if I were to buy used strut mounts from a junkyard and buy new bearings for them?

They are cheap...just buy them new. Won't save that much $$.
not worth the little money youll save....not to mention how are you getting the mounts off yard cars....i hope you have a spring compressor to bring to the yard with you....
