im newbie to air suspension, i have a friend thats going to help me hook it up. but my question is i have drift side skirts should i change the side skirts?, keep them?, or will they not hit when i drop it?
depending on your wheel tire combo they may or may not hit. you will just have to see
right now i have stock but will eventually get 17s this year
Only one way to know for sure. Bag the bitch and drop it. If they hit, change them. If they dont, then dont.
ok thanks for the responses
did you ever crack your skirt or what kind of damage would it do Kevin?
mine use to hit all the time, if i let all the air out it put pressure on the skirts but never did any damage

Yes, like I said, you just have to be careful. I stand outside of the car most of the time now &
watch the car go down until they touch the ground. Then I STOP letting air out.
If that sounds inconvenient to you then go with a different body kit, or try to find
Urethane Drift Sides (nearly impossible)

weld something behind them for the car to sit on.
ive been through 2 k-members already, about to be on the 3rd. screwed roads. as long as you're not trying to be mr low rider everywhere you go, you should be good. so be carefull. i had 17s with 40 series tires. now i have 16s on the same series. so getting rid of the air suspension for a full race coilover set up!
Enjoy life while you can, because you only have one shot. So go BIG or go home.
im with him on the K-member i need a new one also but thats cuz i use to drag everywhere and it took a toll on twisting and denting stuff
so as long as im not trying to drag my ass on every road in town i should be pretty good?
