Need help.

So I acquired my girlfriends Cavalier for a commuter car as I work in a Prison out in the boonies.
I bought her a brand new family car for the baby, and can't afford a new one for myself.
So it's time to upgrade the Cav.

I got a super nice deal on some basic 16 inch rims, which works on the smaller size since my commute is crap.
Got some new Michelin tires too (stock size 205/55/16), so I'm good to go there as well.
I didn't want bigger rims, and a rubberband tire. I only drive it to and from work anyway.

About to purchase the Eibach Sportline springs, and the Koni Yellow Shock/Strut kit.
My main goal is to keep a decent ride, but reduce the fenderwell gap and give it a cleaner look.

Would this be all I need? Anything else that would help?

Appreciate the help guys, the information on the site has been great.
Just wanted to discuss what setup I wanted to do specifically.

Also, I know after the rims/tires and lowering I will have about an inch between the top of the tires and fenderwells.

The rims I got are 5x100, 16x7, +40mm offset. Will these sit inside or even with the fenderwell (told they would)?
With the springs and struts, will the tire hit or bottom out into the fenderwell when dips/bumps/holes are hit?

Just want to verify that everything I'm doing will work out nicely.

I'm new to Cavaliers so this is all foreign.

Again, many thanks to everyone.
