Brake Problem Or?

First some general information, I had both my front brakes (new rotors and pads) and rear (drums and shoes) replaced approximately two years ago, then a few months ago the driver side rear wheel cylinder replaced. I'm not loosing brake fluid (from the master cylinder atleast...), and the car is not pulling when I brake, no constant whining and the lightest of whines from the rear brakes, only if I very lightly touch the brakes.

Now onto the problem, before I come to a complete stop, I get a very loud almost yelping noise, from the rear, it only does it the last bit of distance before the car stops, (when you'd let off the brakes so the car doesn't jerk you). The noise isn't constant, and seems accompanied by a jerking/chugging sensation, the noise happens with each of these. (Car is idling normally)

From what I understand the front brakes take all of the abuse, so it's rare that the rear brakes would be bad already, which makes me worry it maybe something more costly, what do you all think?

You might want to pop off the drum and see if any of the rear brake hardware came apart. Some of that hardware has been known to break. Anyway that is just a thought and worth some investigation.

Dude get the cocker spaniel out from under your car.

Really though the front take about 70 percent of the weight transfer in braking. the best thing you can do is get under your car and look for a problem and take the drum plate off. If you don't already get a haynes manual it will teach you what you need to know. A book an excellent resource.

The proper way of using the word seen. It is not I seen it that would be I saw it. He has seen the car is the right way to use the word. English class is Cool. By the way thats my sig

Well, changed the front brakes, checked the backs, everything looks fine, no leaking fluid, pads and drums are plenty thick, cleaned the heck out of everything to be sure, yet I *still* have this darn squeaking/yelping noise coming to a stop, starting to think its something related to the suspension....
