I just heard that its bad to have cylinders for your front air ride setup. So my question is.. is it true are they bad for the suspension I cant afford bags right now so im curious If having cylinders wont hurt anything??
Dont do it save for bags or sell the cans for money towards the bags. the cycl does not have play to absorb the shock like a bag. more than any thing ull bounce down the road very unsafe. i had cans in the rear for a week until the bags came in and nothing but bounce didnt matter if it was flat out, full or half way and on top i had a cyclinder to act like a absorber and it barely helped. just get bags a leave it be way safer and way smoother right but hey teach is their own right.
I heard that bags pop easy and fast too though. and I only have been able to drive it once or twice the front did seem rough but the rear seemed ok.
theres alot of pros and cons on this. you can do cylinders in the front if you choose. theres alot of bad info on these boards lately. yes it will be bounce and rough but thats only if you do not have accumulators for the cylinders. bags dont pop that easy. they are made of a very thick and tough rubber.
Thanks AWD sorry for this dumb question but what does the accumulators look like all I have is the front cylinders with a strut mount on them. by the way I found out what was killing my car it was my alternator and I have stopped the leak.
they would be the black bellows in the pic
ok I dont have those is there a certain place you can get those or do you just get them from easystreet or suicidedoors?
im sure any hydraulic place would carry them or im sure you could get them from suicidedoors
i know nothing about accumulators so i cant answer that. your best bet is to talk to someone that has used them.
