ebrake only working on driver's side?

Hey guys, thanks in advance!

When I bought my lovely sunfire my ebrake didn't work at all. Now I've replaced the shoes in the rear (the drums show little wear) and the ebrake works again! on the driver's side... I did the whole stomp on it in reverse and jack the brakes and it's not seeming to help any tips?

There's a thin line to be crossed, when the upgrades to your vehicle increase your chance to get tickets by an amount exponential enough to stop worrying and build the fastest, loudest car you can.

New shoes only help when the adjuster is set properly. Same with trying to adjust them "automatically". Often times they become stuck, and need to be taken apart, cleaned, lubricated, and installed properly.

Check for frozen cables, and replace as necessary.

There is an adjustment screw on each side, adjust as necessary.

If the brakes themselves aren't moving, the above mentioned procedure of taking them apart, clean, and lubricate is a good idea.

That last bit is a good idea anyway really.
