5X100 front big brakes
Friday, January 09, 2009 9:59 PM
Is there a kit off another car like the n-bodys that i can use.
Even if i have to redrill the rotors to fit the stock 5X100 bolt pattern
(does the n-body stock bearings have two sets of hole to put the wheel studs in to make them 5X100 BP)
hope some one can help
I want like 11'' front brakes with the 10.6'' neon rear swap in the back that use all the 5X100 bolt patterns for i can use stock 15'' or 16'' alloy rims .
thanks

You might want to check with FAST2.4 P. He made a kit on his car using Baretta rotors. However, the one concern I have with his kits are that the rotors and the rims are pushed off of the hubs, which means the studs are getting far more force on them than they should be. If he has come up with a way to get hub centric rings on there that support the wheels, then it's a decent setup.

I'm working on a 12" kit that will retain factory J hubs and bolt pattern, but it's probably not going to fit under any stock rims. I'm still playing around a little bit to find rotors that may work better, but at the moment the caliper will not clear the stock rims.

Yep, I make two kits. One that uses lumina 11.25" brakes and one that uses 11.9" camaro brakes.

The corvette rotors push the wheel out to far IMO. Unless you have a body kit.
