I have a 96 cavi with koni yellows/gc spring up the front
I need new top mount bearings and bracket.
Can they fit straight on? or do I need to make further modifications?
I know the shocks had to be cut a little when installing. what about the mount hat?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the mounts need no modification.

just got done with this, no mods but youll have to go to kyb if you need the upper spring seat as no one else makes it anymore, otherwise you can't use the bearings
