my suspension setup

I am looking for more drop than the Pro-Kit gives, but I don't want a racing/stiff feel too too much.

Here is what I have decided on:
SHOCKS: AGXs ($470) and D-Specs($520).
SPRINGS: Sprint or Megan Racing (both $190).

The AGXs are cheaper but am not sure if I could run such a low drop with the springs wanted on them and how long they would last?!
Any experiences shared from you guys would be great.

Hey got your IM, and I am not sure off hand, never had anything besides the TEIN setup, I have heard many good things about the d-specs, and then there are always Konis.

their cheaper by 50 bucks, is it really worth it to cheap out at that point and risk your warranty? i mean your already spending atleast 660

Having not actually had them, but just going by the spring rates and amount of drop, I have a feeling the Megan springs are probably not what you're looking for. They have a very high spring rate and probably are going to ride a lot rougher than you're looking for, even if well-matched with a good shock. And on that note, they may also lower more than either shock is supposed to go (I believe they lower around 2" and I know the AGXs aren't suggested for that, don't know about the Tokicos. Don't really know anything about the Sprint springs at all.

Honestly, I don't know if you're too likely to get a feel that isn't a "racing/stiff feel" if you go lower than the Pro-Kit goes. But having not deal much with suspensions, I could be wrong. I do think though you may need to reconsider your spring choices. Perhaps the Sportline springs? Just throwing that out there - again, lower is probably going to equal stiffer and more racing oriented, not to mention harder on shocks.

I can't remember if I said this in the response to your PM, but if you don't want stiff, the Sprints are not what you want, either. They have a high rate. The Pro Kit is probably one of the best choices for you, or the Road Magnets, which sit lower, and people who have used them on here had very good things to say about the ride they give you.

it looks like Pro-Kit, Tein S-Techs or Road Magnets.

Just want to make sure this setup last a couple of year on these road up here.

i've been running a pro-kit drop on stock suspension for 45k+ miles. and ur all gonna say. "thats stupid" "ur dumb." but the ride is nice. no extra bounce what so ever.
