i know you need an alignment after you lower your car but my question is this- i saw on clucav that somebody said you should wait 1-2 weeks after lowering your car to get alignment is there any truth to this or does it even matter?
Im assumeing they meant you should wait untill the springs settle's in but im not sure

I would not wait to get an alignment, because if you're driving the car, and your alignment is too far off, you're going to wear your tires wrong. If you're worried about the springs settling and effecting it, get another alignment later on.

It shouldn't effect it much. It's not like the springs are going to settle so bad that your camber is going to be off again or anything. If you are concerned, put the new stuff on when you have a week or two that you know you won't be driving that much. As long as you keep it under a couple of hundred miles (assuming it's not off in a major way!), you'll be OK to wait for the alignment. Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
