I was doing brakes this weekend and pulled the rear drums off of my 03 Cav. I saw my wheel cylinders and they were a blue aluminum. I never saw a stock wheel cylinder that wasn't a rusted iron. I bought the car new and they were never replaced. Is this typical of cavaliers? I am beginning to think that they were replaced before I bought the car.
to my knowledge all 03+ cavys have the blue ones

are they any better than the old ones? and could we still get them?
I have a 95 body - will it fit?
I have an 03. Mine were dirty but blue.
New ones were the same too.

Won't work.. the 03-05 is a different size drum. You'd have to swap the whole assembly, backing plate, etc... just for a blue wheel cylinder you'll never see.
