When i turn left or right i get this single thud/clank noise in the turn it feels and sounds like something shifts and the result is this clank . I don't think its the cv joints anybody got an idea what this might be! Or what i might wanna check for. Thanks!
I'm pretty sure it would be a cv joint. You usually here then when you turn but you might want to check the balljoint.

i had this same problem in my 96.. was the upper strut mounts, bearings were shot.
