I installed the new rotors/pads last week and have been very happy with the improvement over stock equipment. Little to no brake fade during hard braking. Still need to do the braided brake lines before next auto-x season. Just thought i'd post my .02 cents about a decent front brake set up...

Try the Yellow Stuff pads for racing. They have great bite from cold and even better as they warm up a little. They are all I use when I'm drag racing the Cavy.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

i like my green stuff pads but hate the dust they leave behind.
Anybody running the RedStuff pads?
I've got a set sitting on the work bench, ready for the finishing touches of the rear disc conversion.

Thank you Dave and JBO!
I run the Redstuff pads on my 04 Honda Accord V6 Sedan. Absolutely love 'em. I found that the yellowstuff pads tend to squeal for a daily driver/weekend track use. Much less dust produced versus greenstuff pads.

skip the green stuff go straight for REd.. unless you dont mind cleaning your rims all the time
All brake pads make dust. It's a natural by-product of use

Some leave less dust than others depending on their composites.
I'll be using the EBC products for the first time so we'll see how they fare.

Im curious about the quality and performance of the brembo slotteds...
Is anyone running these rotors?
Misnblu: I know some leave more than others. It just sounded like some people were expecting no dust at all.
Brembo stuff is good.

well, i had the drilled ones, loved em...but my brake system sucks and warped em in 3 weeks...then a set of oe replacements twice over...now i'm finally getting stuff together to redo my brake system. but i was running em with the yellow ebc pads, def want em again. but i think i'm gonna go with the powerslot rotors that are pc'd anywhere the pad doesn't touch. ppl on here like the rotors from em, and i like not having rust and crap there for a bit.
I installed all new gear over the weekend:
Brembo slotted front rotors
EBC Green Stuff pads
RK Sport Brake lines
New rear drum shoes
Cars stops on a dime...
Well Rotors were 180 shipped from tirerack.
Pads were 85 shipped from turbotechracing.
Lines were 95 shipped from rksport
Shoes were 26 from autozone.
Installation wasn't to bad but my brake lines used 2 vice grips to remove and my drums on the rear took awhile to remove considering they have never been touched for nearly 6 years. Believe me, it was perfect timing to do so.

I will be doing a similar upgrade to my vehicle before I get it tuned.
