WOW... my bar is actually larger than that one and i cant imagine how 'large and in charge' its going to look under there.
it sits in the same spot.
what are you lowered on?
Stand in the corner and SCREAM with me!!!!

man that car is clean underneith...guess thats the benefits of no winter/snow/salt driving
looks nice!! i would def like to add this, highway stability is always needed.
what's the difference between a rear tie bar and one of those addco sway bars?
I have a crazy suspension on my car and I love it .....
I have
-front and rear sway bars
-front and rear strut tower bars
-front k member
-front rad support with radius rods
-rear tie bar
-dropzone springs
-dropzone struts
By the way I have had no problem with the Dropzone equipment, before anyone starts flaming
do you have a k member for 2200 4 spd guys yet?
nope, havent developed it yet
nice! whats the damage on one of those bad boys?

Looks good on there Chino!
Its $85 plus shipping in the continental US. But just remember what it consists of ..... 1-1/4" polished aluminum radius rod, 2 - 5/8 x 5/8 heim joints, and grade 8 hardware. All you need to do is drill two holes and its set to install.
The other rear tie bars out there are mild steel smaller diameter, welded construction and I dont think they come with hardware.
Very easy to do!!!!!
Phil, have you had one of your bars installed on a J with a 3" exhaust?

Mine is installed with 2.5" center exit and it clears by a lot, like 5".
I dont see a problem with 3", but I cant guarantee it.
Best solution, get a broom handle and mock it up under the car, see how much clearance you got.
what is the length across? i got some radius rods and rod ends off of my old stock car lying around and i might throw one of these together for my street car.

I made mine with 42 inch bar and the holes are close if not exactly 46 inches center to center.
Well here's the info on it on note paper as that's how I do ideas. lol
Some the diameters changed but the length of the bar did not.
I think it wound up to be exactly 42 inches on the radius rod leaving a perfect amount of room for the heims.
The bar doesn't have to be as beefy as Phils but it won't hurt either.
I'm really happy with mine as most that have done this mod will say the same thing.
Good luck and nice stuff Phil.

it wont matter, david. this design puts it WELL out of the way of any exhaust.

lol I pretty much did the same thing as MISNBLU except superman got a hold of my supplies!!!!! lol
I use 1-1/4" rod, 5/8 x 5/8 percision heim joints, and grade 8 hardware.
