13" tires on 98 Cavalier Z24 (BRAKE SETUP)

I want too put 13" tires on my cavalier for short track racing. I know the 13" rims will not clear with the brake setup on the car now. What make/model car brakes can I use for this set up. Pics would be nice thanks WCC

you need a 3 inch or less back space wheel to clear teh stock 3rd gen cavalier brakes, this is a 96 with 13's

I take it these are aftermarket racing rims? Where can I get these and is there a OEM 3 inch or less wheel out there?? thanks

I doubt you'll find a negative offset 13" wheel in our bolt pattern from any factory car. You're going to have to look at circle track rims.

Off topic: Bob, I never realized you were in Maine. I guess there are a lot more of us up here than I knew.

Incorrect, I believe in the 2nd gen it needs to be older than 92 or 93.

2nd gen guys do an upgrade to the larger brakes for whatever year it comes along. I'm sure you can do the opposite.
