So I am planning on doing a daytona rear brake swap.
I have a friend who was into daytonas and he parted a few. And he saved me a complete rear assembly for the brakes, including everything from calipers, to the whole trailing arm assembly.
I am still getting all of my parts together so I am just researching before I get started. (stuff is in storage)
So my question is, how much does this setup differ from the neon rear brake swap? Is more or less involved?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It's about the same amount of effort. You will have to flip the brackets and do alittle less machining but not much less. I'm not sure if there is much different with the ebrake cables but even if you need longer ones it's not a big deal.

Installation was pretty straight forward actually. As far as I know Viper98912 and I are the only ones with this setup.........He sold/helped me install mine too. The only real trick is grinding the plate enough to fit the ebrake.

Hey Bobby
I am wondering what are you running for parking brake cables? J body ones or the Daytona ones?
Also what are you running for rear rotors? I see that they are slotted.
Any into you can give me would be great
