I have been told that some Sunfire GTs or convertibles came equipped with factory rear sway bars. Is this true, and if so, where can I get one to fit 2000 Cavvy - I know I can get aftermarket but really need OEM if they are available. Thanks.
no it is not true
no 3rd gen 95-05 ever came wiht a factory rear sway bar
the 3rd gen convertibles came with a factory fron STRUT BAR but no rear sway bar they stopped putting rear sway bars on in 94

actually, some cars came with a factory "stiffening bar" that was welded into the rear trailing arm/axle. you'd need to be able to cut/weld, or swap the whole axle.

got pictures of this have yet to see one of these rear ends that have bracing

Both of my Zs have the extra bar welded in the rear axle assembly.
