Hey guys, got a question...I need to totally replace all brake components on my 02 Z24, and I have a question about the rear drums...I guess they come in two sizes...how can I find out what size my drums are? They are rusted beyond belief (car hasnt been driven in a long time)...Ive gone to the parts stores and no one can answer me...I have the vin number, but I cant seem to find anything online which might point me in the right direction...

2.4L engine
16 inch rims (stock)
ABS
2 door
Any ideas what it might be? Or even where i can find the specs? I need to get the brakes done soon, and I bought the smaller ones (almost 8 inches) and i guess the other size is almost 9 inches...The parts store said i could return em if they were the wrong size...So any help is greatly appreciated!

Look at the drum with the rim off. It should say the max diameter on it.
I also had the same problem at autozone and they were clueless to what size I needed.

Where on the drum would it be? Like i said, they are pretty rusted, I dont know if anything would be on there....mechanic wh looked at it said if he tried machining them, theyd fall apart in his hands...Ive gotten all the parts because I have a friend who's gonna do the work so she can teach me how to do it myself and save me some money with regards to labour...

in all my previous experiances the 95-02 use the smaller drum and 03+ had the large go with that
i have never seen a pre 03 with the larger drum but according to the parts store there out there

99.99999999% you will need the smaller ones.
if you are the large drum you will be the first pre 03 car i have heard of using the larger one
