The car...02 Cavi LS Sport 2dr with 94,000 miles.
Ok so I recently had new rear control arm polyurethane bushings put on my car. The shop that did it does all the work on my car because I trust them and they are affordable. I bought the whole kit from Karo but, I didn't need the fronts done. Anyhow now I have this dang squeak/rattle coming from the left front like someone left a handful of washers underneath. I had it in there today and we went through every bloody thing and could not locate it. Hell we even walked next to the car and hit bumps and could hear it but not locate it. As @!#$ty as the roads are in the welfare state of Michigan this is going to drive me insane unless I'm on the hwy when I don't hear it.
Lastly, I have really noticed a clunk in the front and I just had the whole front suspension done. New struts, strut bearings and mounts. It really only happens while backing up and turning. Cv joints are good. I read all over here about this last subject and have used that as a starting point to chase this sound. My right front wheel bearing has a little (very little) play in it. They think that might be it. I had that thing replaced about a year and a half ago and I cant believe its going bad already?
Any thoughts?
if you don't buy good bearings they go out fast. really fast.
