Which strut mounts?

I'm doing my suspension and am in need of new mounts all around. Should I go with KYB mounts on Monroe? If it helps any my set up is going to be Pro Kit/ KYB AGX's.

BUMP
I'm also curious about this as I have the same suspension to be installed.

I'd go with the Monroe's personally, or an aftermarket set from OEM. I've run both and depending on car usage those are the two brands I'd throw underneath there.

It's a daily driver.

Well, I have the OEM mounts on my dd, but I drive my car pretty hard. I'm lowered about 2" all around (I have the Koni sport kit). I also have poly bushings all-around with strut bars front/rear and a rear tie bar, all sitting on 225 width BFG KDW's on 17's...with more suspension mods planned/in the works.

What I noticed was that the stockers would start to break down after about 6-10k miles, and the Monroes would start to break down around 12-15k miles (not actually gone bad, just starting to go). Again, I drive my car pretty hard though. It's really up to you...if you have the money I'd spring for the OEM's, especially if you're gonna start doing more extensive handling mods.

I would save up more for the OEM's knowing they are fully worth it, which sounds like they are seeing as they never wear out. The only concern I have is that "solid mounts" instantly makes me think the ride will be harsher... ?

The ride will be a little harsher....and i do mean a little. They are harsher in a positive way in that they give better feedback, rather than just making the ride worse, if that makes any sense. Like I said before, I love mine and will never go back to stock ones again.

For the monroes, I'd just hit up (iirc) autozone.

Buy GM bearing plate mounts. The aftermarket mounts like Gabriel are junk beacause the plastic is cheap and bends easy.I have some that are bent.

I went and picked up the Monroe's a couple days ago. Can't wait to get the suspension setup into the car.
