im looking for a lowering kit for my 2003 cav..i have found some on ebay but ive looked and the suspension faq said there horrible..i was wondering if anybody new where i could get them cheap n reliable or if any body has some for sale.
No ebay crap.
If it isn't a big name, Don't even think about it IMO.
For suspension, Don't cheap out.
be prepared to spend 500-1000 on a full set, prolly closer to 1000 all said and done, if its considerably less, do some serious research and make sure u ACTUALLY getting a good deal
Cheapest, good aftermarket lowering would have to be an eibach pro-kit spring and kyb agx strut.
It's a good handling set-up, and it doesn't look too bad. Should be able to get the setup for around $500 which is not bad when dealing with suspension components.
another decent setup would be Eibach Sportline springs with Tokico D-spec Struts. the sportlines offer a lower drop, meaning very little wheel gap even on stock wheels and perform very nicely, and the D-specs have a warrantee to support said drop and offer a comfortable range of adjustment. mine was had for a total of about 750. theres cheaper setups out there but this is the one i went with in the end. no real regrets as of yet, ive had the springs on for almost 3 years, and the struts going on 2 years. i only wish that i would've done the springs and struts at the same time, and that i wouldve done strut mounts as well.
yup im running sportlines and Dspecs as well, i love it but it can cost you a weeee bit
