i drove up a curb at about 45 last sunday avoiding an accident and i got a wheel alignment and my mechanic said everything looked good. problem now is a nasty creaking/grinding sound. sounds like metal on metal its high pitched. it happens when i'm at a stop and i turn the wheel to the right, it's coming from behind the rotor i thought it might be the ball joints and tie rods need to be greased but i'm asking cuz i want to be sure.
Unless you have aftermarket ball joints on your control arms they aren't grease-able that i know of. It wouldn't hurt to try it on the tie rods i guess.
alright i'll check the tie rods thanks.
