I just want to know if there are any modifications needed to use this kit, I have read on here there is a spacer/washers needed at the top of the strut. I work at an auto parts store and their catalog doesn't list any tech notes about this issue or any others, so either they aren't aware their kit needs modifications or they have changed their design since 2006, the time I found most of the posts were made about the spacer.

If someone could clear this up for me that would be great. I might just end up ordering them anyway, it doesn't sound like a big deal, just a couple of washers.
