I just finished repairing a brake line, the car (97 Sunfire) has been sitting for about 8 months.
i noticed that the front bleeder screw on the ABS master was bone dry, after someone helped me bleed the system, brake fluid flowed through all the 6 bleeder valves even the one that was bone dry. But the BRAKE light wont turn off!, the e-brake is down, so its not that. and the ABS light does not come on, only for that first second when i start the car.
Any input on what it might be?
What is the fluid level like in the master cylinder? it might just have either a bad switch on the ebrake or a bad sensor on the master cylinder.

i checked everywhere, fluid topped up, everything plugged in, after like half an hour, the brake light turned off then the abs light kicked in, i unplugged the battery a few times and it went away, thanks for the help
