So i was readin through the Suspension FAQ and found the size for front sway bar, 24mm, i have a 04 cav ls sport. But i could not find the size for the rear since the car does not have one. Help?

yes, the car does have one. but it is not a 'sway' bar in the regular sense. it is just a hollow stiffening bar that is welded into the center of the rear axle.

Your car carries a 19mm or 0.748inch solid rear stabilizer/sway bar.

That is the front bar, but at 22mm that you're looking at that bar is for the 1995-2002 Cavaliers with FE2 suspension package. Your 2004 carries a 24mm (2003-2005).
Your rear stabilizer/sway bar is tucked and welded inside your twist-beam axle.

Pretty sure im looking at the rear sway bars...

for instance: http://www.summitracing.com/search/Brand/Eibach/Position/Rear/?keyword=2004+chevy+cavalier+sway+bar

Does anyone know where to find 24mm rear sway bars for cav cause i cannot find ANY?

hell if size is the issue here buy the freakin addco then...

i know for a fact it is 1" or 25.4mm in diameter.

looking at pictures of the eibach i can pretty much tell you that it is not 22mm. it is the same exact bar as the addco, 1" or 25.4mm. no idea why summit has the size wrong...

nota2.4... ive told you before, you could get a rear 'stiffening' bar. we've discussed this several times.

well size matters a little cause i want to make sure it fits lol. So the 1" will fit for sure? Found one on autopartswarehouse for 221$.

Would rather just add a sway bar instead of replacing stiffening bar.

brad i wasn't saying you were wrong i know the rear stiffening bar that you are talking about just the way his post was it seems like he was looking for a stock sway bar which we know they don't have stiffning bar yes sway bar no

that stiffning bar is designed to strengthen the rear trailing axel not for any other purpose ( this is just for info NOT telling you brad what it does cause obviously you know what its for)
