*****BLAME IT ON THE ALCOHOL*****
I paid 950 for my Tein Basic Coilovers and another 500 on Front and Rear strut mounts from Mark at OEM. You can still use your stock mounts but new stock ones are recommended. So you'll probably paying close to 1000 for any set of decent coilovers plus an alignment which is about 70 bucks.
Wow, I got lucky lol.
Your looking anywhere from $600 - $1800 to do the coilovers the right way.

truth.
I sold my ground controls and 3 yellows for $650
yea, you can get them for 100$ but are you going to trust your life on a $100 suspension? hell, i see your from Oshawa, i'm in bowmanville, so when ya get the 100$ coil overs you could take us both out on the road when they break. there is alot of cheap junk out there, that rides like ass and is unsafe as hell. If u can't spend a g on them than coil overs arent for you, you get what you pay for, Don't cheap out, get a good name, ground control teni etc. heck there's a coil over group purchase going on hear right now.
i hear ya but im poor haha im not racing or nething atleast anything off the street, anyone know of good cheap ones, im guessing its the metal etc of what they are made out of that makes them so much. anyone know good cheaps ones ?

no, its the lack of design and thought that 'went' into them. most of these cheapie ebay crapovers are actually for a different car and not even made for the j-body, just share a similar design. the spring rates are usually WAYYY high.
if you are poor, save you're money til you can afford the good stuff. $50 a week ($200 a month) = $1000 in just 5 months.
