any coilover set-up for 100 dollars does'nt resemble anything of quality. however there are mixed reviews on the dropzone stuff. that's all i can tell you as i've never tried their stuff. some people say it's fine, other's that it's garbage. that being said, suspension is really the last place to cheap out on. so your call.
Dont people search? There ebay turbo kits, $100 "coil-overs", etc threads popping up everywhere on this forum. There is a reason the cost $100 compared to a $1500 set of Teins. The teins(and STDs) are designed for our cars, the $100 sets are not.
Tein SS have damper adjustment, ride height adjustment, and camber adjustment.
STD R3s have damper adjustment, dual ride height adjustments, and camber adjustment.

$100 "coil-overs" do not come with a strut(shock) that compliments their spring rate, they require you to provide your own strut. Also for $100 do you think they care if they have the correct spring for J-bodies? I doubt it.
You have 3 choices.
1. Hack together the suspension on your race car and fight to keep it out of the wall instead of fighting for position.
2. Pay for a quality set of coil-overs and fight for position instead of fighting to keep the car out of the wall. The companies are also willing to work with you if you break/damage one.
3. Research other options, like Eibach Sportlines and Tokico D-specs or Eibach Pro-kit and KYB AGXs.
Also stock struts cannot handle any amount of drop, keep that in mind. I also had a friend drop a bunch of time off his auto-x events by just switching from a lowering spring/proper strut to Tein SS coil-overs.

uhm well, i definitely wouldnt be telling someone this for a street car...
but...
those cheap coilovers would be perfect for your set up. seeing as how you do not give a crap about ride quality and or blowing struts, OR worrying about safety issues on the street, id say go for those cheapie coilover setups.
i had a set of skunk2's once, the car had no give whatsoever over bumps etc. and... it handled like a dream, why? because the car had absolutely no give! LOL
id say try it at least....

. I do not give a @!#$ about ride quality what so ever I just want the sucker to handle. People think the world is going to end If you drive on @!#$ty coilovers or on cut springs, I've been on cut springs for 2 years it's fine.
P.S. Im in a caged car with a late model racing seat with a 5 point harness hahaha.
