I don't remember where the picture is (john piparo might have it), but the way SSBC mounts their bracked is messed up. They do NOT mount to the original bolt holes, as the Wilwood kit does. They machine A LOT off the spindle, to the point where the bracket starts to "wrap around" the center of the hub. They then redrill and tap holes in the spindle.

If you didn't get the spindles with it, then I think you're going to have a VERY hard time trying to modify that spindle for the bracket. I suggest you try to find the spindles from where you got the brakes from, or contact SSBC to see how much it would cost for them to machine the spindle for you.

Yea, the hole spacing width and then height relative to the rotor radius doesn't work well with the stock J setup. So they ended up needing to drill and tap new holes, but when you start looking for meat, you have to go farther away around the knuckle.

I dont think it is a J knuckle, as I have been working with one for the past month almost every day.
The strut bolts dont have a recess between them on mine, and it looks like they had a 16yr old design this.
If that is a J knuckle they machined it too much and it looks foreign now lol
The bracket wraps around, when there is plenty of room to make something smaller with the same structural integrity.
SSBC is a local company where I live, and I never see anyone with their product on their cars at the shows.
Im not sure what that is saying about their products.
But thats just my two cents!

Dude, its definitely a J knuckle. Remember, I bought this setup before.

SSBC is a well known, established, and reputable company. Just because you personally haven't seen them in car shows doesn't say anything about them. It's pretty ballsy for you to say that a 16 year old designed it. They obviously thought differently and I think their design is somewhat radical, but good.

And yes, my stock J knuckle does have a recess between the strut holes. My N knuckles don't. Your picture shows that you still have the bottom of the strut attached - have you taken it off to look?
