tie rod hitting rim

Well, Ive been having a problem with my 2001 2.2 cavi. The Drivers side outer tie rod is hitting the inside my rim. This only happens when I turn to the left to its max. I think it may be my Rack and pinion going bad but im not sure. I have already replaced both outer tie rods and the drivers side wheel bearing. I went to a mechanic and they said that the steering wheel was out of alighnment and the whole steering column needed tobe pulled to realign it, but that didnt fix the problem.Anyone have any ideas?

I'd look closely at the control arm to see if it's bent or maybe the bushings are totally worn out.
