Rear strut bar and trunks.....blonde moment here

I looked and seems like not many people are having my problem, but what are you guys doing with the trunks and rear strut bar?I have tried so many things and seems like trunk can't close right with the strut bar, so my trunk is sitting higher on the drivers side and I can't get it sit right? I was thinking doing a little bit of grinding/cutting to the arm thats how frustrated I am getting....any help would be nice

i`m willing to bet your hitting the bolt that holds the bar to the plate, i had to get a bolt with a smaller head to get mine to close.

I did a plate attached to the tower bolts and attached a big bar to that plate, for more stabilty I used a pair of small bars to tie in the unit to the trunk floor. Moving the bars over a little more made the trunk close fine
