I bought a used easystreet kit a few months back and installed it last month. I was driving on the highway and heard a hiss come from the left front strut, but it didn't drop so I crept the last couple miles home, was pulling into my driveway and it collapsed. I took the wheel and strut off today, and there is a huge lump and a hole where something came through the metal, is there anyway to have it rebuilt in a different housing?
well since no pics im gonna guess and say something failed with the adjuster and came out the side.
yeah, i'll get pics tomorrow. I think the strut may have completely locked up, because the top part of the bag itself came loose.
What'd you have the dampening set at, and how many psi have you been driving around with? I never had any problems with the fronts when I had them, the rears wouldn't adjust dampening wise when I first bought the kit, but Easystreet replaced them in a matter of days.
dunno about the dampening, but I've been driving between 30 and 40 psi...has been working fine other than some leaks that I haven't chased down...putting my static drop on until I decide what to do with it.
